Physical Therapy

Some examples of gross motor skills include running, crawling, jumping, walking, and even sitting. Children are curious and playful by nature. Naturally, when their ability to play is impeded by a physical problem, it can be especially upsetting for both the children and their parents!

Physical Therapy assists children in developing the ability to move and develop their large muscle groups in a meaningful and purposeful manner. These are often referred to as “gross motor” skills.

At Wonder Therapeutic Services, our therapists address long-term motor development so that your child can reach their highest potential for independent living.

If your child is not demonstrating age-appropriate motor skills or has movement problems that prevent them from living out daily activities, physical therapy could help improve their balance, coordination, and range of movement.
